The Department encourages the best practices for keeping the premises of its Units and Intitutions clean and promotes activities linked with the Swachh Bharat Programme.
Units and Institutions of the Department are engaged with several activities related to the Swachh Bharat Programme. Activities such a cleanliness drives, tree-plantation drives and awareness campaign among employees and neighbourhood communities are carried out at from time to time. Department also lays emphasis on observance of Swachh Bharat Pakhwadas.
