For the excellent implementation of the Official Language Policy, the Department of Atomic Energy has been awarded the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar (First Prize) for the year 2023-24 by the Department of Official Language, Government of India.
On the occasion of the 4th All India Official Language Conference organized on the 74th Hindi Day on September 14, 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, this award was presented by the Hon’ble Minister of Home and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah to Dr. Deep Prakash, Officer on Special Duty, DAE Branch Secretariat and Project Director, GCNEP, New Delhi, who represented the Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy.
On this occasion, the Chairman, AEC and Secretary, DAE congratulated all the officers and employees of the department and expressed hope that the tradition of excellence will continue in future.
This is a national award, presented by the Government of India for excellent work in implementation of official language. It is a matter of pride that for the first time, the Department of Atomic Energy has received the first prize in this area. Previously, in the year 2022, the department was awarded the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar (Second Prize) for the first time.
The Department of Atomic Energy is committed to achieve the targets given in the Annual Program issued by the Department of Official Language for the implementation of the Official Language. Along with its administrative work, the department is also creating Scientific literature in Hindi.
Receiving this award has infused new energy among all the employees and they have been inspired to work in Hindi with new enthusiasm.
