Industry Consultation on Nuclear Energy Roadmap

Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) organized an “Industry Consultation on Nuclear Energy Roadmap” on 14th May, 2026 at AEC Conference Room, DAE HQ, Mumbai under the Chairmanship of Secretary, DAE. The consultation witnessed participation from senior officials of DAE & its Constituent Units, and representatives from major Indian Industries. During the programme, deliberations were held on various aspects relating to the Nuclear Energy Roadmap and Sustainable Harnessing and Advancement of Nuclear Energy for Transforming India (SHANTI) Act, strengthening participation of Indian industry, and enhancing collaboration between DAE andIndustries in the nuclear energy sector. Industry representatives shared valuable suggestions and inputs during the interactive session. The consultation provided an important platform for exchange of views and discussions towards achieving long-term nuclear energy goals of the country.
